I thought I’d make it available again. I will see if I can dig up a tracklisting for it. It is two hours long and moves from a dreamy and atmospheric beginning to some techy stuff, through the world of house, gets a bit frantic towards the end before settling into a nice smooth final 20 minutes.

I’m not necessarily suggesting people go back and buy my previous music because much dance music is such a fleeting, transient thing but it’s cool to have stuff on there.

Working 40 or more hours a week is a chunk of time, but on top of that I’m trying to work toward an MFA in Creative Writing (and have a loong way to go) so only time will tell if I get a chance to put anything together musically and/or website related.

I have been listening to a lot of music lately, but the dancier stuff still often leaves me flat.  Much of what I’m enjoying is fairly commercial in nature, but still quite good.  Rediscovering Portishead a bit with their new upcoming third album soon, which I have heard, and perhaps I’ll post about it soon.  Also listening to a lot of Marsmobil who I think are fantastic.  And, as always, much Ulrich Schnauss.

What have I been busy with?

Meet [when]aissance.

Sort of a cultural/humor/art/music site that will probably develop eventually into a record label, fashion line, publishing house, and condiment manufacturer.

Don’t get me wrong – it’s probably my favorite as well, but it’s nice to see people will show interest in something a bit off the beaten track, if it’s done in a creative and somewhat unique way. 

Another quick plug for people to add me on their Myspace.com friends list too.  My list isn’t "pitiful" anymore, but the more the merrier.

If you’ve just stumbled upon this site after hearing any of the recent remixes, please drop me a line.  I’m not like the average dj or producer.  I almost always answer emails (if they’re nice at least), and usually I answer emails with one that is about 3 times as long as the one I got.  I like to hear people’s input and ideas, and generally don’t talk to many other "pro" (accent on quotations) producers because their ideas are usually based in tradition or some other cliches that I don’t adhere to.  (except Austin, Kobbe and some of the other wicked guys I’m always interested in hearing from..)

This is the graphic design of the sticker I did for the cover of the "America 2005" release.  It shouldn’t be too much longer before that one is out.  I used the Thomas Jefferson quote at the bottom of the sticker – I think clicking on the image should bring it up full-size so it can be read.

I signed up for an artist account on Myspace.com.

My friends-list is quite sad though, as the only person on it now is this Tom guy that everyone gets.  It’s a bit like playing Quake or Doom or something, and you just get that sad little pistol that everyone has when they start.
